The Society of St Vincent de Paul is a volunteer Catholic lay organization comprised of men and women who provide comfort and assistance to those in need. There are many different volunteer opportunities for individuals, student and corporate groups, and a wide variety of professional volunteers work directly with people in need.
Some volunteers provide aid to people who visit our Parish Conferences, helping with needs for grocery vouchers, clothing vouchers, bus tokens, prescriptions, and State ID cards. Other volunteers work in our thrift stores to collect, evaluate and display a variety of donated clothing and household goods.
Each parish conference determines programs that best serve the needs of the community. Whether you have a few hours to assist or you are ready to devote your life to volunteer service, please contact your local Parish Conference or District Council to learn what you can do.
We are in great need of volunteers for our Thrift Stores, Food Pantries, and Dinning Rooms.

"..it is the innate movement of the heart that inspires every human being to help his fellow man. It is a law of existence. A volunteer experiences a joy that goes far beyond what he has done when he succeeds in giving himself freely to others." Pope John Paul II
